A concept app that helps college students and clubs find each other, plan events, catch up on sessions they missed and celebrate results. It's a prototype for a Product Management assignment, not a live product.
Students and staff of one college, signed in with a college email. Club organisers create events; members RSVP, watch and cheer. The college's student-affairs office can see activity.
It doesn't replace WhatsApp. Chat stays there. Hike Campus adds what group chats do badly: a list of all clubs, one calendar, alerts only when plans change, and recordings and results that don't get lost in messages.
Join clubs, RSVP in person or online, get change alerts, watch live sessions or recordings with notes, see competition results and winners' performances, and control notifications for each club.
The concept uses college email sign-in, never reads phone contacts, keeps recordings visible to members only and shares performances only with the performer's consent. Report and block are available on posts.
Students use it free. The idea is that the college pays for an organisation plan; this still needs testing.
No. It's an independent educational concept, not affiliated with Hike. Hike Messenger closed in 2021. Nothing here sends real messages, verifies identities, plays real video or takes payments.
